British Steam Tanker Cadillac
Whilst part of convoy HX.109 Cadillac was attacked by German submarine, U-552, 1 April 1941. It sank taking the lives of 32 crew, 2 gunners and 2 passengers, along with the 17,000 tons of aviation spirit. The Cadillac also saw service during the First world war where it was attacked and damaged by the German submarine, U-53, 7 April 1918
